Week Three: Man from the fall to faith.
Welcome to week three, So far we have studied how man has a nature of sin. The question is, does this disqualify us from service? Can man be restored and made whole again? Jesus never waste anything. When we come to him we become his workmanship that he creates unto good works. So man has fallen, now what? Many of the greatest heroes of the bible fell hard. Moses committed murder, David committed Adultry, Paul struggled with doing the right thing. We all fall short, but Jesus can pick us up and dust us off and start using us again. This lesson is about getting back up after you have fallen. God can restore and rebuild us, placing us in that work that He has called us to do.

What was the condition of man’s heart at this time? ______________________
How did God feel?___________________________________________________
God was grieved as He is greived whenever there is sin. God hates sin so much that when Jesus took all of our sins at the cross, God could not even look upon Him! Jesus cried out; "my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" When we are in sin we often feel very alone, it isn't that God doesn't love you, it's that He cannot look upon sin. We should be so grieved at sin the same as He is because we are separated from God when we have sin. God's grace and love does not stop or leave us though. Just because He hates our sin, it doesn't mean that He stops loving us.

Can man come back after the fall?____________________________________
God is always wanting to forgive us our sins, this doesn't give us a license to sin, but it does let us know that God is very much willing to work with us as He changes our lives. Just because we fall, he does not give up on us.

It is grieving the amount of times I have heard from the pulpits that God has forgiven all our sin even including our future sins when he died on the cross, while it is true that Christ died for our sins and it is also true that He died for all of our sins, we must take heed to the penalties of unconfessed sins and repeated sins that occur because of this idea that it is ok, all is forgiven! Sin is never ok and God will deal with all sin accordingly. Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life." A gift is one that can be given or not given it is up to God. The gift of righteousness requires that our sins be removed so that we can stand in God's presence and only He can give it. And He wants to! It is written about our sin pardon or gift that God gives to us that sets us free;
"In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee." Isaiah 54:14
"See Justification" that's what righteousness means. In justification thou shalt be established! What or who makes us justified? How are we justified to do anything. Justification is the judicial act of God, in other words only God can justify us. When he pardons our sins we are justified. Our righteousness can only come from His pardon of our sins. Not everyone can be pardoned though, in fact what makes us more justified than a terrorist that brings the fear? The answer is in knowing that we have been pardoned through the sacrifice that Jesus has made to pay for our sins. Our justification doesn't come from our good works, it only comes from accepting God's grace. As it is written "there is none that does good, no not one." We have all fallen short of God's glory! This righteousness that protects us from oppression, depression, fear and terror is the justification or pardon that God gives to us through Jesus Christ, when we draw near to Him we can rest assured that we shall stand strong and never be moved!
Who or what can come against those who stand in righteousness, who by the grace of God through Jesus Christ have been pardoned from all sins? No one shall be left to cast the stones of fear and terror!
Today we can receive this gift,
